KoalaCad is a CAD app for designing and exporting 3D models. This policy explains what data KoalaCad does — and does not — collect.
KoalaCad does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no user accounts, and no server backend. Everything you create stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it yourself.
Your projects (sketches, features, dimensions) are saved locally on your device only, in app-private storage that other apps cannot access. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.
When you use an export or share action (for example, saving an STL/STEP file or sending a model to another app), that action is initiated by you and handed off to the operating system's own share/save mechanism. KoalaCad itself does not send that data to us or to any third party.
The Android app declares the INTERNET permission. KoalaCad
does not use it to transmit any personal or usage data — the app's 3D
modeling engine runs entirely on-device.
If KoalaCad offers an optional paid upgrade, purchases are processed entirely by Google Play's billing system. KoalaCad never receives or stores your payment details — Google's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
Since KoalaCad collects no personal data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children either.
KoalaCad is built on open-source components (including Open CASCADE Technology, three.js, and Capacitor). None of these transmit data on KoalaCad's behalf. Full license texts are available in-app under Settings → Third-party licenses.
If this policy changes — for example, if a future feature introduces optional network features — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change.
